5 Apr 1686 in New Amsterdam. He was a Shoemaker. Tanner & shoemaker in
New Amsterdam. In 1634, Coenraet went to

p. 293. Ten Eyck means from the area of the oak. He was a shoemaker's
helper and had $5,000 accumulated in 1674 -- a virtual fortune.
