From Anthony Wolf to his sons Andrew and William and from William to his son (my grandfather) Charles, the Wolfes worked the Hudson River. Our history starts in the days of the sloops and continues through the dawn of the steam engine and on into this century. This is a fairly well-documented part of the Wolfe story at least in general terms. I am working on obtaining permission to use photographs of the boats the Wolfes worked on and the records that have been discovered so far.
